Rudy has been fishing all his life, but really took it up as a
hobby 30 years ago. He has fished Lake Fork and Lake Ray Roberts since before they were opened for motorized boats.
He loves to share his knowledge about the sport, from beginners
to the experianced. You can expect a good time on the water with Rudy.
He has been published in newspapers and magazines as well as written
articles about his beloved sport.
In March of 1991, Rudy
caught a 10 lb 9 oz Largemouth bass at Lake Ray Roberts. It was reported in local newspapers and caused quite a stir amoung
local fishermen. After that, he had tons of calls from guys wanting to hire him to teach them how to catch big bass. It was
at that time that his hobby turned into a profession. He is now one of the area's foremost fishing guides, helping others
to learn the sport. He is an accomplished tournament angler and has won first place and Big Bass honors several times.
Recognition has reached far and now he gives monthly instructional seminars at Bass Pro Shops in Grapevine Texas.
